After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, which he earned in 1983. He began his career in mixed animal practice in Burlington, Wisconsin, gaining valuable experience and knowledge.
In 1985, Brian made a significant career detour when he decided to serve in relief and development in Haiti for 2.5 years. During this time, he worked tirelessly to assist the rural poor of Haiti, demonstrating his commitment to animals and his dedication to improving the lives of people in need.
Upon returning to the United States in 1987, he entered a mixed animal practice in Baldwin, Wisconsin, where he purchased the course in 2001. His ownership of the method allowed him to provide top-notch care to animals in his community while serving as the President of the Pierce St. Croix Humane Society from 2001 to 2003.
2016, he made another career shift by selling his practice, but his passion for animal welfare remained undiminished. He continued to pursue his calling, founding a low-cost veterinary clinic in 2021 to support those who could not afford regular veterinary care for their pets.
